Right now I'm using BootMii+Priiloader 0.8b4 to autoload the cfg_usbloader forwarder (the priiloader version with no splash screen) to load USBLoader GX 3.0 from SD card.

Boot time is about 10 seconds of black until the USBLoader GX loading screen.

Does anyone have any have any suggestions on how to make it any faster?

How does bootmii have to do with the priiloader autoboot? I just use the usb loader forwarding dol + priiloader autoboot. It makes it easy to update (looks for /apps/usbloader_gx/boot.dol) and if my HDD isn't plugged in, it just goes to sysmenu. Loading takes about 4-7 seconds. You could just install the regular USB loading dol and priiloader autoboot, that should load GX a little quicker.
