A Wedding Theme
Hello there; I just wanted to start off by saying this is my first post on this incredible place! Anyway, to the point of the thread: My brother and my soon to be sister-in-law are getting married in October (just before Halloween). I am really wanting to give them my Wii for their young daughter and and their own enjoyment. After I learned about all of the theme options and what have you for USB Loader GX (the usb loader I prefer) I knew I simply had to get them a wedding theme. After I searched and searched for a theme fitting the situation I couldn't find one and then decided to request it.

The theme doesn't have to be anything too fancy and I am going to decide the music myself once (if, obviously) I can get the theme. Now, I have no earthly clue how long it takes to make a theme. I understand it could take a reaallly long time to make one, and if that is indeed the case just say so and I'll find something else. But if it is plausible to accomplish and someone is feeling like helping me, it would much appreciated and I know it would really mean a lot to them.

Well, that's it I guess. If you have any questions or anything feel free to post back I'll be keeping an eye on the thread obviously. Thanks in advance for anyone that might want to try it!

Themes are not too difficult to create. Do you have any type of layout in mind, background images, or anything else to aid in the creation of a theme? Grhum909 is one of the best USB Loader GX themers IMO and hope he can help out with this, but I am willing to give it a shot.

Well, I was thinking that for the main background it could be like the aisle of a church decorated for a wedding. No need for a new custom pointer, nothin to really set it for a wedding theme. Like I said I am going to pick the music and the default noises for clicking and what not could stay the same.

I was thinking something like this for the background

Umm, for the buttons and such at the bottom I was thinking maybe just a nice white with like a pink border or something. But if you can think of things to look better feel free to throw them in. Like I said, it doesn't need to be overly fancy, just clearly be a wedding lol. And thanks a lot for showing interest my request! Smile

RE: A Wedding Theme
I started on something simple, but got really busy. I will try to get the default theme for the latest version and change the background and maybe put a pink border on some of the buttons. It wont be a huge change, but at least it will be wedding themed Smile

I am not that great at graphics.

Simple wedding theme is done http://wii.spiffy360.com/theme/871/Simple_Wedding

I wish the background would have lined up better though.

Oh my goodness thank you so much! After a while I had just kind of given up hope for one, but then I saw this on a Google search and I realized this was the one I had asked you to make. This is absolutely great, their wedding is 2 days from now and they're gonna love this! I'll be sure to tell them where I found the theme. Thank you so much again, this means a lot to me!

RE: A Wedding Theme
Hmm, so now that I'm finally home and can work with the theme, it appears that whenever I download and enable the theme in my USB Loader GX, the next time I attempt to start the usb loader I just get a code dump. "Exception DSI occurred." Anyone have any thoughts? I have my loader completely updated and everything. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Weird, did it happen after an update or after simply applying a theme?
